"Coy" comes to the Macon County Heritage Center

Folks, here is a poster for the performance of "Coy," a little dramatic monologue that has been around for about thirty years.  I remember Tom Deweese doing it for a NCWC in Charlotte that long ago.  Originally, it was part of a trilogy called "Land's End," and was done in conjunction with two other

dramatic monologues, "Nance Dude" and "Jesse Racer."  I am uncommonly pleased that it is still popular and readily admit that it is "autobiographical."  The protagonist, Coy, is a young man attempting to accept his grandfather's prolonged suffering n the local hospital and decides to kidnap the old man.  Usually, Tom and I enter into a dialogue with the audience about the play following every performance.  This one is scheduled for November 9, 20l3 at 6:00 in the Macon County Heritage Center at the Old Cowee School.  Please come!
