THE KINGDOM OF THE HAPPY LAND

Well, Kind Hearts, the magazine, Smoky Mountain Living, finally published my article (and painting) on the legendary Kingdom of the Happy Land that once existed in Henderson County (1867-1906). I am shamelessly pleased. Although the reproduction of the painting is a little indistinct, that is probably good. If any of you are interested in obtaining a copy, you can find the Fall issue on most magazine stands in this region, or order them from the SML website. Click on the image to enlarge!
