THE LIAR'S BENCH IS GOING ON THE ROAD. REGULAR PROGRAM WILL BE AT CITY LIGHTS ON SEPTEMBER 4TH AT 7:00

That's right! We have been invited to the Calhoun Inn (once the home of both Granville Calhoun and Horace Kephart) in Bryson City on September 10th at 7:00. I believe there will be some "Friends of the Smokies" in attendance. Then the legendary Jarrett House Hotel in Dillsboro has invited us to provide a program on September 17th. Nobody is paying us, but we get a free meal and have the management's permission to pass the hat and sell as few cds, dvds and books. I have no idea what the program will be in Dillsboro and Bryson City, but right now, I thinking about featuring "the Best of Liar's Bench." The September 4th program at City Lights, in addition to Mark Twain will feature the outsider/folk artist, Eric Legge. If you don't know about this fellow, put his name on Google and check that out! Hopefully, we will have photos up shortly after the program.
