Well, Kind Hearts, here it is! "Outlander" published with supportive materials, including photographs from the Kephart Collection at Western Carolina University,a critical essay by George Ellison and some photographs from the production at the Parkway Playhouse. During the next month, I am going to be doing signings and discussions at libraries and book stores in this region. The first one will be at City Lights on July 14th at 6:30. Hopefully, I will have musicians on hand to play Frank Lees music.
The shot of Jack and me on the front porch was made by John Fletcher, the photographer from the Asheville Citizen Times. I was asleep in my chair when he showed up, and I had been reading George R. R. Martin's Songs of Ice and Fire.
