THE LIAR'S BENCH AT CITY LIGHTS, JULY 3RD, 7:OO P.M.
The four poems that he discussed were inspired by such events as a family death, eating out in restaurants and the 4th of July. Quinnett's work is published in a number of major haiku journals.

COME AND SIT ON THE LIAR'S BENCH - STORYTELLING IN SYLVA, JUNE 5 AT 7:P.M.
SIGNATURE BREW COFFEE COMPANY is sponsoring a night of storytelling at 633 West Main Street on Saturday, June 5rh at 7 P.M.The event is called TELLING YOUR STORY (OR SOMEBODY ELSE'S), and although there will be a variety of interludes (music and singing) the primary emphasis is on STORYTELLING. There will be an open mike, and hopefully, local folks with a (knack for telling stories) will rise to the occasion. COME AND SIT ON THE LIAR'S BENCH!
(That is what local residents used to call the bench in front of the post office.)
