Jack, my jack russell looked a bit take aback when I told him that I was going to teach a twelve-week course in Appalachian Literature at the new Jackson County Senior Citizen Center. It could fall through, of course, but right now, I've been told to prepare my lectures and get ready to saddle up. I will start in April. Jack will sleep in the car while I am doing this.

A Class in Appalachian Literature.
