There are countless Jack Tales, but last night I concentrated on a bit of information about Richard Chase, the man that snatched the old tales from oblivion and my favoriteJack Tale which is based on an ancient tale called "Godfather Death" and renamed "Soldier Jack, the Man Who Caught Death in a Sack." I especially enjoy comparing the attitude toward death in the two stories.

WHERE DID THE JACK TALES ORIGINATE?
